Kraft Engineering Ltd. is an engineering firm focused providing practical solutions to industry. We specialize in the design and manufacture of custom products for our clients. Kraft Engineering is lead by Jens Onneken, PEng. who has experience in oil and gas, forestry, marine, municipal fleet and agri/aquaculture.

Jens Onneken is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this Jens completed a Commercial Diving Diploma at the Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle, after which he worked as a diver doing ship’s husbandry (inspection and underwater welding), industrial installations and in aquaculture. In the late 90's he was lead to the oil patch and worked as an equipment operator and heavy duty mechanic, where he obtained journeyman certifications as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic and Red Seal Commercial Transport Mechanic.

Jens' hands-on approach when working as engineer is largely due to his background in industry working on heavy equipment, machinery, marine and industrial design and repair. This experience and knowledge make Kraft Engineering uniquely qualified to help on your next project. At Kraft in addition to design and manufacture of custom products/equipment, we provide a wide range of other services to our clients that include: weld inspections, drafting, equipment inspection, implementation of new or refinement of maintenance programs, project management, failure analysis, mechanical engineering and more.
